About Us
Motala Hissar is a leading manufacturer of elevators for buildings where space is limited, and we produce one of the world's most space-efficient elevators. We are a company within the Innovalift group, owned by Latour Industries.
Motala Hissar was founded in 1972 with the manufacture of cargo elevators. Since the 1980s, the company has primarily focused on platform elevators, which are mainly used for accessibility adaptations of buildings. Over 10,000 elevators have been delivered to customers worldwide so far. Approximately 60% of production is exported.
We manufacture all mechanical parts in our own facility. This means we have full control over production. If a customer needs a special solution or particularly fast delivery, we can usually accommodate this. Our production facility in Motala is centrally located geographically with fast distribution routes both north and south. We have our own development department that continuously works to make our products better, smarter, cheaper, and even more space-saving. The company is certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001.
About the Role
As a production supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations in production at our sheet metal department, where your primary role is supervisory leadership, but also ensuring quality, delivery precision, and a safe work environment. You will be part of a work group with other supervisors and report to the Production Manager.
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Lead and allocate daily work within production
- Responsibility for approximately 10 employees, development conversations, follow-up, and support in daily work
- Follow up on production targets, key metrics, and report to the production manager
- Ensure that work environment and safety procedures are followed
- Participate in and drive improvement initiatives
- Work closely with other departments such as procurement and delivery to optimize workflow
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a workshop/technical background and previous leadership experience in industrial manufacturing. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and have the ability to engage and motivate your employees.
We believe you have:
- Relevant education within industry or production
- Strong merit: previous experience with sheet metal work
- Previous experience in production management
- Good knowledge of production processes and improvement work
- Experience working with business systems and production planning
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
