Welcome to us We are now seeking a team leader for Hägersten-Älvsjö Daily Activities 1, within LSS. The unit consists of five daily activity services, where participant engagement, development, and self-determination are central. The position involves leading three daily activity services with different focuses and target groups. Each service consists of a small work team of approximately 2–4 employees, which provides excellent conditions for close and accessible leadership. As a team leader, you have a combined role where you both lead employees and work practically together with participants in the daily activities. You have an important role in creating structure, quality, and a good work environment. Your role As a team leader, you are the employees' immediate manager and have a central role in leading, organizing, and developing daily work. You are responsible for creating structure, quality, and good conditions for the employees' assignments. You ensure that the activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, the city's guidelines, and the unit's procedures. The position is varied and combines team leadership, administrative tasks, and activity-based pedagogical work. The majority of your working time you work practically together with participants and employees in the daily activities. A Category B driver's license is required, as two of the services conduct work-oriented assignments within property services and park maintenance, where daily transportation of participants and materials is a natural part of the work. You are part of the unit's management team together with the unit manager and another team leader. Your responsibilities include: • Leading, planning, and allocating daily work. • Conducting and leading staff meetings and other meetings. • Implementing, following up on, and developing procedures and working methods. • Supporting employees in matters related to documentation, implementation plans, and pedagogical work. • Working with staffing, scheduling, and introducing new employees. • Performing administrative tasks such as billing, ordering, employment administration, and other personnel administrative duties. • Contributing to service development and quality work. • Working together with participants and employees in the services. • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. • Replacing other team leaders as needed. • Replacing the unit manager as needed. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: Requirements: • Upper secondary education in child and youth activities, nursing assistant with a focus on disabilities, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • Several years of experience working in LSS services. • Previous experience in team leadership or other management roles. • Experience with administrative tasks, such as staffing, billing, and other operational administration. • Good knowledge of low-level contact management and clarifying pedagogy. • Good computer skills and experience with administrative operational systems. • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish verbally and in writing. • Category B driver's license. Meritorious: It is meritorious if you have: • Academic qualifications in, for example, social work, behavioral science, pedagogy, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • Experience in service development and quality work. • Experience working in services that have undergone economic restructuring and efficiency improvements. • Experience in municipal operations. To succeed in this role, you are a confident and clear leader with good collaboration skills. You work independently, take responsibility for planning and driving your work forward, and have the ability to make well-founded decisions in daily work. You take responsibility for meeting deadlines and following up on what needs to be done. When you lack knowledge, you actively seek information, ask for support when needed, and put new knowledge into practice. You have good ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt your work based on the unit's needs, even when multiple issues need to be handled simultaneously. You have the ability to create engagement, participation, and a good work environment while being clear in your expectations and following up work in a structured manner.
