Work Supervisor - Parks and Nature Conservation for Sollentuna Municipality

As a work supervisor, you will become part of Sollentuna Municipality's employment unit (AME), where we have consolidated municipal labor market initiatives. Participants with support needs to approach the job market come to us at AME. Our practical activities consist of Facilities Management and Sanitation, Service and Custodial Services, Textile and Reuse, Parks and Nature Conservation Operations, and educational support toward work and studies. We offer motivating and skills-enhancing measures so that participants can start working or studying. Job Responsibilities In the role of work supervisor, you will primarily work with practical outdoor work together with our participants. Work takes place in parks and natural environments throughout Sollentuna. You will practically work with clearing brush and felling trees, instruct and teach, and plan the workday. You are responsible for ensuring that work is conducted safely and that safety procedures, risk assessments, and work methods are followed in daily operations. Further, you should motivate and inspire our participants based on the methods we work with and make adjustments based on each individual's needs and circumstances. Together with case managers and employment consultants, you will develop individual development plans, set goals, and follow up on these continuously with the participants. Your work will include actively participating in various meetings with other authorities. It also includes holding follow-up meetings with your colleague regarding our clients concerning practical work within parks and nature conservation in the municipality. Qualifications The role is broad and requires both practical and theoretical competence. We are looking for you who have: relevant education and work experience in parks and nature conservation, forestry, gardening, or other equivalent field. experience leading work groups and ensuring that safety procedures, risk assessments, and work methods are followed in daily operations. chainsaw operator license A+B, brush cutter training level RA+RB. driver's license B for manual transmission. experience working with people with various types of difficulties. good ability to perform your daily work tasks in Swedish, both spoken and written. understanding of labor market requirements and conditions. experience with documentation and reporting, and ability to use the Office suite.
