About the Position
Nordic Concrete AB is growing and continuing its journey to become one of the leading concrete companies in the Nordic region. For their operations in Norrbotten, they are now seeking an experienced and committed foreman who wants to take responsibility for daily production on-site.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate work on concrete projects and ensure that production is carried out according to schedule, drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable regulations. You have an important role in collaboration between work teams, project management, site manager, subcontractors, and other functions.
This is a role for you who thrives close to production, has good technical understanding, and is confident in leading others.
Key Responsibilities
As a foreman, you will, among other things:
lead, plan, and organize daily production at the construction site
assign work tasks and follow up on the work team's progress and quality
ensure that work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations
participate in work preparations, lift plans, and risk assessments together with KMA/HSE coordinators
follow up on material deliveries, machinery, and orders to create efficient production
have daily dialogue with project managers, site manager, work teams, and when needed subcontractors
contribute to a safe work environment and ensure that KMA procedures are followed on-site
document work tasks, deviations, and report according to company procedures
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with solid experience in concrete work who is confident in the foreman role. You are used to creating structure in production, prioritizing correctly, and driving work forward together with others.
To be eligible for the position, you need:
experience with concrete work, formwork, and reinforcement
at least 2 years of documented experience as a foreman
good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license
It is meriting if you have:
Concrete certification class 1 or 2
experience from larger or technically demanding concrete projects
experience working with KMA, work preparations, risk assessments, and lift plans
Personal Qualities
We believe you are structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented to succeed in this role. You have the ability to plan, prioritize, and maintain an overview even when multiple things are happening at once.
You are a clear and trustworthy communicator who can collaborate with different professions on the construction site. You have a strong safety mindset, are engaged in the quality of the work performed, and contribute to good teamwork.
