Operations Manager Trade & Rental | Temporary Position

We are now seeking an operations manager for Trade & Rental for a full-time temporary position with excellent opportunities for continued employment within the organization. About Trade & Rental Trade & Rental is a broad and varied operation that encompasses ski and bike rentals, ski and bike repair workshops, sports shop and groceries, logistics, and lift pass management. The operation has many different customer touchpoints and work tasks, which means that workdays can look very different depending on the season, workload, and organizational needs. As an operations manager, you therefore need to be able to move between different parts of the operation, find it easy to prioritize when many things happen simultaneously, and help where the need is greatest. Your Responsibilities As an operations manager, you are an important part of daily operations and work both operatively and administratively. You collaborate closely with the department manager and management team, while leading and coaching a larger group of employees. This is a role for someone who thrives when things are busy, who dares to make decisions, and who can think one step ahead of today's to-do list. The work is varied and includes: • Responsibility for scheduling and daily operations • Operational work in store and rental • Administrative tasks and work in our systems • Contribute to profitable operations by working cost-consciously, efficiently, and with focus on correct priorities • Responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting employee training • Give and receive feedback and contribute to team development The role is broad and tasks may vary based on operational needs. We help each other where needed and therefore value flexibility and lack of pretension. During parts of the day, the pace is high and workload is varying. Working hours are therefore variable and the position involves work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as periodically long workdays.
