About the job
We're looking for you who love food, people, and sales and want to be part of our great team at Willys Hemma Malmö Lugnet! In short, the position means that you contribute to helping our customers shop for good and sustainable food at really great prices, while being prepared to take the step toward becoming an assistant manager.
Position details: Permanent employment at 32 hours per week, probationary period applies.
Start date: 2026-08-17 or by agreement.
Work hours: You will rotate between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Secondary education, excellent proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.
Here's a bit more about the position:
You are a team player with more responsibility to lead, delegate, and prioritize than other store staff, but without personnel management responsibility.
Of course, you participate in the daily operational store work, with special responsibility for the checkout line.
You'll learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on a role as an assistant manager. This is a stepping stone to advance your Willys career with the goal of becoming a future assistant manager, team leader, or perhaps eventually a store manager?
You work goal-oriented to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other important key metrics.
You are part of the management team in the store and have the assistant manager's job description on your development plan. You practice the skills you've learned at work and through training.
You are a role model in serving our customers with knowledge, tact, and a great smile.
