Your role as a work supervisor As a work supervisor, you drive daily production with your own responsibility for leading and planning your team. The focus of the work is on planning and executing assigned tasks as well as establishing and developing customer relationships. As a work supervisor, you report to and support the Site Manager with monitoring efficiency and finances, and ensure that the management system and other applicable regulations are followed. In the role of work supervisor, you are allowed to grow with responsibility. We primarily perform paving work in Stockholm and surrounding areas. Placement is in Södertälje and some of the work is performed at inconvenient times. Who are you? We are looking for someone with interest and several years of experience from the paving industry and at least a high school education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on the construction industry. It is an advantage if you have worked as a crew leader and have knowledge of asphalt production. It is also an advantage if you have experience with earthwork. As a work supervisor, you set clear guidelines, motivate others, give them authority and opportunities for development. As a leader, it is important that you build team spirit, show respect for others' opinions, and uphold ethics and values. You focus on customer needs and maintain good service, quality, and productivity to high standards. A structured approach and good order and organization are prerequisites for managing the different parts of the work supervisor role. You take initiative and solve problems, and you enjoy having contact with customers and suppliers. You have at least a Category B driver's license and good computer skills as administration is required periodically. Part of something larger Svevia's industrial division is in an expansive phase, and ambitions are high. The goal is to be a leading player in paving in Sweden.
