Your responsibilities
We are looking for someone who wants to help create meaningful and developmental activities for people entitled to day activity services. The role includes assessing participants' resources, interests, and needs to identify appropriate services and activities based on each individual's conditions and goals. The aim is to strengthen participation, independence, and, where possible, create pathways to apprenticeships, employment, or further education.
As an employment consultant, you will be part of DV Slussen, an assessment unit that evaluates new participants' resources and needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where knowledge exchange and collegial learning are important aspects of the work. You are responsible for independently conducting individual assessments and, in collaboration with the participant and other stakeholders, finding appropriate and individually tailored activities. Placements can occur within our own operations, in corporate groups, or at workplaces in the open labor market.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education degree of at least three years, such as social work, vocational guidance, behavioral sciences, occupational therapy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with individuals with, for example, intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or others who are far from the labor market. You work in a coaching and motivating manner, have the ability to build trusting relationships, and meet people with curiosity, respect, and a solution-focused approach.
For this position, you must have:
- good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- good digital skills, and
- experience with documentation.
- A manual transmission B driver's license is required.
It is advantageous if you have:
- experience working in LSS activities, labor market initiatives, or work rehabilitation.
- knowledge of Supported Employment (SE) and/or Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
- experience assessing work or activity capacity and collaborating with employers, authorities, and other stakeholders.
