JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Support within Osby Municipality is seeking an Employment Consultant for daily operations as our activities have expanded in scope. The position is within all daily activities and our Employment Consultant is seeking a colleague. The position will be divided into 50% Employment Consultant and 50% pool work, primarily within daily activities but also in other LSS areas if needed. Are you the person we're looking for?
You will work to support people with disabilities to develop, find meaningful activities, motivate them, and when possible, move closer to the job market. We work with respect for participants' integrity and with participation in focus, you will design the support accordingly. As an Employment Consultant, you work both independently and in a team.
We want you to have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people with functional variations. You enjoy varied and challenging support tasks. You should be attentive, patient, flexible and understand the importance of showing respect.
To thrive in the role of Employment Consultant, we believe you are a creative and responsible person who can engage and motivate other people. The work tasks are varied:
• activities should be based on each person's individual needs and provide stimulation, development and community
• drawing up implementation plans and planning, implementing and following up on these
• motivating and supporting participants in their daily work and development
• seeking and establishing contacts with companies and workplaces for internships
• mapping individuals' abilities together with the different units
• being a contact between adapted upper secondary school and the activities
• guiding and supporting participants in various activities at internship or workplaces
• collaborating with Employment Consultant, support assistants/support pedagogues within daily activities, unit manager, relatives, LSS case handlers and other contacts
• documenting efforts according to LSS and social services guidelines individually and together
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogue, support pedagogue or leisure pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Meritorious education: Motivational interviewing
Meritorious: Experience in clarifying pedagogy, low-affective approach. Personal suitability and experience of work in daily activities or as an Employment Consultant is meritorious.
You have a B driving license.

Interviews will be held on August 20 and August 21 on site in Osby Municipality.

Duration: Start date: 2026-09-01.
There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the activity's needs.
