In the Work and Individual sector, individual and family care, labor market initiatives, functional support, integration, and adult education are organized. Description Do you want to help create opportunities for people to develop and move closer to work and self-sufficiency? The Labor Market and Development unit is seeking a work supervisor who wants to help launch a new service group within the municipality's labor market activities. The unit consists of several operations that support people on the path toward studies, work, and self-sufficiency. These include financial assistance, adult education, integration, youth coaching, socio-psychiatric employment, and internal labor market programs. Job Responsibilities As a work supervisor, you are responsible for leading and coaching participants in the service group. You plan and distribute work tasks and create conditions for participants to develop their work capacity and skills. You receive assignments from the municipality's operations and carry them out together with the participants. Assignments may include: Gardening and outdoor environment work Painting and minor carpentry work Litter removal and other service tasks Practical tasks in the municipality's operations Social assignments, such as reading aloud for the elderly Work takes place both indoors and outdoors and involves many contact points throughout the municipality. You will be part of the internal labor market work group. Qualifications We are looking for someone with training in social work or other education that the employer deems appropriate. You are a person who enjoys practical work and likes to combine supervising people with practical tasks. You are comfortable meeting people with different backgrounds, circumstances, and needs. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Are handy and enjoy practical work Have good collaborative skills Can motivate, support, and guide others Have good interpersonal skills and a clear service focus Can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written Have good computer skills and can document your work Meritorious It is meritorious if you have: Experience from labor market activities Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) Experience with or training in the BIP method Experience in social documentation Terms A B driver's license is required.
