Business development work is city-wide and affects all of the city's departments. Strategic and operational business development work is led by the Department for Employment and Business, which is part of the Administration for Employment, Culture, and Leisure. The Employment and Business Department's overall mission is to prepare people for work and studies and to develop the business climate in the city, in collaboration with the business community. The department consists of about thirty employees who work on employment and business issues as well as adult education. What Does the Work Involve? As an Employer Coordinator/Business Development Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing Solna Municipality's contacts with employers. You function as an important link between the city's activities and the labor market with the goal of creating more opportunities for internships, work training, and employment for our target groups. In the role, you will, among other things: • Plan and conduct company visits, networking meetings, and information initiatives. • Follow up on initiatives and ensure quality and good results. • Contribute to the development of the city's employer and business network. • Document, analyze, and report on the activities' results. The role involves many external contacts and active work with employers to create engagement and confidence in the city's employment initiatives. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is motivated by creating opportunities for people while having a good understanding of the workplace's and employers' needs. You are initiative-driven, results-oriented, and have the ability to turn ideas into concrete results. With a professional and service-oriented approach, you create trusting relationships and build networks that contribute to successful collaborations. We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in social science, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with employer contacts, customer relations, sales, or collaboration, and are accustomed to building and developing professional networks. Furthermore, you have experience with business development and thrive in a role where you combine relationship-building work with a clear results focus. Meritorious • Knowledge of labor market policy programs and support forms. • Experience from municipal operations, employment agency, or business development work. • Experience collaborating with the Swedish Public Employment Service and other authorities. • Experience working with individuals far from the labor market. • Experience with coaching, matching, or recruitment work.
