Our mission also includes conducting work-oriented rehabilitation through assessment, rehabilitation, or work-preparation measures. The unit is divided into several sections that all share responsibility for ensuring the unit's ability to achieve set goals and expected results. We have offices in three locations: Strömsund, Sveg, and Östersund, but work with job seekers from across the county. Job Description As an Employment Counselor, you are an enabler and expert, a bridge between talent and need. You focus on job seekers and employers and make a difference every day. Through conversations, you map out competencies, support needs, and propose concrete measures. This may include guidance, training initiatives, or development of job search strategies. You stay updated on the labor market and employers' recruitment needs. A central part of the work is to inform and communicate about the Swedish Public Employment Service's mission, services, and rights and obligations. You work professionally with government authority. You can handle both positive and negative news in a respectful manner. You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can explain regulations and adapt your language to the situation. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month trial period. The work location is in Strömsund. More about working with us We apply individual and differentiated salary setting according to central salary agreements RALS/RALS-T. Basic Requirements for the Position University/college education of at least 180 credit points (120 points according to the previous system) Alternatively You have been employed as an employment counselor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prospects of meeting today's requirements for employment counselors And - At least 2 years of work experience, totaling at least 50 percent employment over a combined 2 years - Good knowledge of Swedish, meaning good ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and high reading comprehension - Category B driver's license Additional Merits for the Position - Experience working with meeting and supporting individuals through physical meetings, phone, and digital channels - Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations - Experience of and knowledge about different types of work barriers (such as disabilities, substance abuse and social law issues) The state values guide us in our daily work.
