Our mission also includes conducting work-oriented rehabilitation in the form of investigative, rehabilitative, or work-preparation measures. The unit is divided into several sections, each responsible for ensuring the unit's ability to achieve set goals and expected results. We have offices in three locations: Strömsund, Sveg, and Östersund, but work with job seekers from throughout the county. Job Description As an Employment Specialist, you are an enabler and expert—a bridge between talent and need. You keep job seekers and employers in focus and make a difference every day. Through conversations, you map competencies, identify support needs, and propose concrete measures. This may include guidance, training initiatives, or development of job search strategies. You stay updated on the labor market and employers' recruitment needs. A central part of the work is to inform and communicate about the Swedish Employment Service's mission, services, rights, and obligations. You work professionally with government authority. You can handle both positive and negative decisions respectfully. You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can explain regulations and adapt your language to the situation. Our Offer This is a permanent full-time position that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The placement location is in Östersund or Sveg. Basic Requirements for the Position - University/higher education of at least 180 credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Alternatively: - You have been employed as an employment specialist at the Swedish Employment Service and are assessed to have good conditions to meet today's requirements for employment specialists And: - At least 2 years of work experience, totaling work of at least 50 percent over a combined 2 years - Good knowledge of Swedish, i.e., good ability to communicate in speech and writing, and high reading comprehension - B-class driver's license Additional Merits for the Position - Experience working to meet and support individuals through in-person meetings, phone, and digital channels - Work experience interpreting and applying regulations - Experience with and knowledge of various types of work-related barriers (such as disabilities, substance abuse, and social welfare issues) The public sector values guide us in our daily work.
