Would you like to be one of us? Our Mission At the national Support and Matching unit, we provide service and support via telephone and remote meetings to job seekers throughout the country. We work with several important areas of responsibility such as matching, guidance and counseling, and decisions on measures for job seekers. Our primary mission is to shorten the time people spend unemployed. We are also responsible for parts of the Employment Agency's control function, which aims to ensure that job seekers and service providers comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to prevent incorrect payments and fraud. Role Description We keep job seekers in focus, and in your role you will be an important support to job seekers during conversations, helping and guiding them toward an appropriate position in the labor market. The work requires that you are curious and have the ability to make complex things simple. A central part of the role is matching job seekers to employment and education, guidance, and making decisions on measures for our job seekers. To succeed in this role, we see that you enjoy: Providing support and solving the tasks you are given in a good way Interpreting and applying laws and regulations Making decisions Matching and guiding job seekers toward employment and education Working with job seekers and assessing their situations Working with scheduled assignments Navigating and working in multiple systems simultaneously Working toward established goals Working hours are between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Your employment will begin with an introduction period where you will be well equipped with the necessary skills to handle your upcoming duties as a civil servant. Basic Requirements for the Position University/higher education degree of at least 180 credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Alternatively Have worked at the Employment Agency as an employment advisor, case officer, customer resource, handler, or service handler And At least 2 years of work experience, with a minimum of 50 percent employment totaling two years Very good proficiency in Swedish Additional Merits for the Position Experience with guidance toward employment and/or education and good knowledge of the labor market Experience working at a government agency, especially with administrative legal matters Experience working with people in different life situations, including people in vulnerable situations, where professional treatment and good service have been central Experience working primarily via telephone and digital channels, and good ability to learn and use new computer systems The state value foundation guides us in our daily work. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date fall 2026 by agreement. The work location is Gothenburg. We offer favorable vacation agreements and the possibility of flexible working hours by agreement with the employer (after completing the approximately 9-week introduction).
