About the assignment Strukton Rail's maintenance operations in Bergslagen comprise one of our most complex and challenging contracts. We are now looking for a driven and business-minded Operations Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the contract while leading an organization of approximately 80 people. Your responsibilities As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the contract in accordance with Strukton's business strategy, processes, and values RÄLS (Respect, Honesty, Trust, Safety). You report directly to Business Manager Mats Bylund. Production is managed operatively by the site manager with the help of supervisors and technicians, while you as Operations Manager are responsible for the business: finances, contracts, customer dialogue, strategic decisions, and long-term development. We are looking for you who have University education in engineering, economics, leadership - or equivalent experience 5-10 years of experience from a similar role within the contracting industry Experience with large and complex contracts with public clients Good understanding of contracting law and contract matters Experience with occupational health, quality, environment, and safety work Documented experience in driving business operations and building long-term customer relationships Your profile You are a courageous, engaged, and communicative leader who acts as a role model. You lead through others, create structure, and follow up on goals with clarity and integrity. You have a stable and confident demeanor, but are at the same time creative and solution-oriented. Where others see problems, you see opportunities. You are experienced in negotiations and confident in business dialogues and public procurement. You have a good understanding of contracting law and know how it affects business - you don't need to be a specialist, but you know when you need to deepen your knowledge or seek support. Because work takes place in a track environment, a passed health examination for security service is required before employment.
