If so, the role of Work Manager within the Concrete Business Area is for you. About the Role As a Work Manager, you will have a central role in the organization where you are responsible for the entire project process from estimation to delivery. You take a strategic approach to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, profitably, and with high quality. You work closely with estimators, project managers, and site managers, and your responsibility is to drive both business development and team development forward. Key Responsibilities In your role as Work Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and supporting projects from start to finish. This involves leading estimation work, preparing bids, and performing quantity calculations. You have an eye for detail and identify both risks and opportunities, while optimizing project costs. An important part of the assignment is ensuring that each project follows established timelines, stays within budget, and meets the company's high quality standards. You lead and develop the project organization's employees and collaborate continuously with both internal and external parties, from clients to contractors. Furthermore, you actively contribute to developing the company's procedures, working methods, and tools. Finally, you are highly committed to work environment, safety, and sustainability and work continuously to ensure these areas maintain the highest possible standards. Requirements for the Position Several years of experience as a Work Manager or similar leading position in construction/building, preferably with experience in cast-in-place concrete structures Relevant higher education, such as structural engineer or equivalent Solid knowledge of building technology, AMA, MER, and contract law Practical experience with cast-in-place concrete structures and large projects Concrete Class I-U Experience working with estimation software, MS Office, MAP, and Bluebeam B-driver's license Who You Are You are a stable leader with good communication skills, which allows you to conduct effective dialogue both within the team and with external parties. With a strong business sense, you are accustomed to making decisions and taking initiatives that contribute to project success. You work in an organized manner, have a solution-focused approach, and a genuine interest in technology, which helps you navigate complex situations and find innovative solutions. Furthermore, you enjoy combining operational tasks with strategic work and see the value in having an overall overview while being engaged in daily operations.
