Working Site Manager for Norrsidans Bygg 2.0

Norrsidans Bygg is an established construction company in Åkersberga built on professional pride, quality, and satisfied customers. Now we are taking the next step and strengthening our organization to grow toward companies, property owners, condominium associations, and other professional clients. We are therefore looking for an experienced and action-oriented working site manager who wants to combine practical construction work with responsibility for planning, coordination, and oversight of approximately 10 employees and subcontractors. About the Role As a working site manager, you will be a key person in daily production. You work practically alongside the team while creating structure, forward planning, and momentum in projects. The role consists of approximately: - 50–70 percent practical construction work - 30–50 percent site management, planning, and follow-up You will be the link between the work team, subcontractors, customers, and the company's owners. By taking clear responsibility out on the projects, you also help free up time for the owners to focus on sales, business development, and the company's continued push toward the B2B market. Your Main Responsibilities You will, among other things: - Actively participate in construction and renovation work - Plan and allocate daily work - Lead and coordinate approximately 10–20 people - Follow up on time, quality, and progress - Plan material, tool, and staffing needs - Perform and document self-inspections - Identify and report deviations and additional work - Contribute to a safe and well-organized work site - Maintain ongoing contact with customers on practical matters - Report status, obstacles, and resource needs to the owners Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with solid construction background who still wants to work practically. At the same time, you are accustomed to taking responsibility, leading others, and ensuring work is completed according to plan. You may already work as a site manager, team lead, or lead installer. You could also be an experienced tradesperson who naturally takes responsibility on job sites and now wants to develop further into a leadership role. As a person, you are organized, clear, and solution-oriented. You dare to set standards, report problems early, and build trust with both customers and employees. Required Qualifications: - At least five years of experience in construction or renovation work - Experience planning and allocating work - Ability to lead employees and subcontractors - Experience reading drawings and work descriptions - Understanding of quality, timelines, and costs - Experience with customer contact - Fluent Swedish in speech and writing - B-class driver's license It is advantageous if you have experience with professional clients, digital documentation, self-inspections, occupational health and safety work, or relevant certifications such as BAS-U and hot work.
