We are seeking a working supervisor for our client who wants to help create well-maintained, sustainable, and inspiring outdoor environments together with a responsible and engaged team. The client values commitment, drive, and the right attitude just as much as formal qualifications. The workplace is in the northern suburbs with a start as soon as possible. The position is full-time.
Your Responsibilities
As a working supervisor for landscaping projects (gardens, public spaces), you have a broad area of responsibility. You are a key person for daily field operations. You primarily work on planning and leading the activities. A working supervisor should have strong pruning skills and good plant knowledge, as well as possess the practical expertise required to ensure that all work tasks are performed correctly in terms of both safety and technique. This also includes solid knowledge of winter road maintenance.
About the Role
As a working supervisor, you are responsible for driving and coordinating work on site while also participating in daily operations yourself. You ensure that projects maintain high quality, proper pace, and that the team has the right conditions to succeed.
You must have at least a diploma from a gardening program or natural resource management program at upper secondary level. Alternatively, other equivalent qualifications, such as a TCYK professional certificate based on relevant practical experience. Plus at least 3 years of operative experience as a working foreman or equivalent.
We Are Looking for You If You
Have experience and education in landscaping or natural resource management at upper secondary level
Are confident in a leadership role and enjoy motivating others
Enjoy combining administrative work with hands-on tasks
Are solution-oriented, organized, and take responsibility
Have strong social skills and a professional demeanor
Hold a Class B driver's license (Class BE is a plus)
You should have strong knowledge of garden care and grounds work, and be experienced in directing and delegating tasks. A Class B driver's license (manual transmission) is required; other license classes and any specialized endorsements are advantageous. The work also requires business-oriented administrative capability with computer proficiency and strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written. As a supervisor, you need to be open and direct in your communication, skilled at informing and motivating your staff, and good at prioritizing and collaborating.
We believe you are a person with strong social competence, who is positive, responsible, independent, and skilled at planning and organizing. You should also be structured and have an easy time working with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and your own team.
