Staff Needed for Short-Term Residential Facility for Children and Youth
We are seeking engaged and responsible team members for our short-term residential facility for children and youth within LSS.
The work involves providing children and youth with a safe, meaningful, and stimulating stay. You work closely with the children and young people, providing individualized support based on their needs. The work includes support in daily situations, personal care, activities, and social interaction.
We are looking for you who:
Have relevant education, such as childcare provider, nursing assistant, support assistant, treatment assistant, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Have experience working with children and youth with disabilities, preferably within LSS.
Have knowledge of autism, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD.
Have a calm, respectful, and low-affective approach.
Are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
Can work independently and follow the facility's routines and implementation plans.
Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as documentation is part of the work.
Merits
Previous experience with short-term residential care, LSS housing, or similar operations.
Knowledge of low-affective approach and visual pedagogy.
Working Hours
The work is primarily scheduled for weekends and afternoons/evenings and may also include work during school breaks. This position may suit you if you want to work extra hours or part-time.
