About the Store As customer traffic continues to grow at ICA Kvantum Malmborgs Clemenstorget in Lund, we need to strengthen our team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about retail and service. Do you want to work in a vibrant city store? Then this position is for you! Here you'll find local fresh products, delicious delicacies, and affordable everyday groceries. The store has approximately 115 employees and up to 60,000 customer visits per week—one of the ICA stores with the highest customer traffic in the country! We are seeking a Cheese & Delicatessen Manager! Perhaps you're currently working as a delicatessen manager and want to try something new? About the Position Your daily responsibilities include assortment management, profitability, campaign planning, ordering, and day-to-day operations. You ensure that the store's sales displays and campaigns are well-stocked and that the store is always clean and attractive for customers. You are responsible for daily operations. You will continuously work on developing your department together with your team to create attractive and high-selling retail spaces. To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy working at a fast pace, work well both independently and in a team. We work with team picking. You are flexible in your thinking and have a strong understanding of the store's goals and development. Being solution-oriented and having a broad perspective where you see the bigger picture is essential. Good and clear communication with both colleagues and management is a given. Qualities and Qualifications We're looking for someone interested in new challenges who enjoys working in a team and has excellent, positive customer service skills. You thrive on pace and tempo and always ensure that customers leave the department and store satisfied. You see a future in grocery retail and are driven by new challenges. You are skilled at working methodically and personally. You are confident and a good communicator. You have documented prior experience from ICA or another grocery retail store. You are proficient with AOB and Min Butik or similar systems. You see your near future in retail. You are thorough and reliable. You have good physical stamina and are driven by sales and customer satisfaction. It's a plus if you've previously worked in a delicatessen. We're looking for someone who Has experience in grocery retail, preferably with responsibility for fresh products Is business-minded, results-oriented, and structured Has a strong interest in cheese, delicacies, and food Is a natural leader who motivates and develops others around you You are driven, engaged, and take initiative, bringing new ideas Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong collaboration skills Have an eye for detail and a sense for product display Employment This is a full-time position with every other weekend, early mornings, and evenings. Team picking and cross-departmental knowledge with meat and charcuterie. You will also work in the store's delicatessen department. Experience with self-inspection HACCP and serve as backup for the Food Safety Manager when they are absent. Store hours are 6 AM–11 PM every day. Trial employment. Salary according to agreement.
