Your Role
As a Maintenance Technology Group Manager, you will be responsible for and ensure that the right expertise, capacity, and conditions are in place so that maintenance operations can be conducted safely, efficiently, and sustainably in the long term. The assignment involves leading, developing, and staffing the group based on operational needs. The role will support operations by providing the right technical expertise and creating conditions for coordination and flexibility across technical areas. The assignment also includes strengthening competency supply, collaboration, and development capabilities within the maintenance organization.
You will lead approximately thirty employees and be responsible for workplace environment, employee conversations, payroll, and rehabilitation.
This is a new role, and we're looking for someone who wants to help develop it forward. You will work closely with your direct manager, functional leaders, and employees.
We're looking for someone with
relevant technical education or equivalent experience in maintenance or process operations
experience in work supervision or coordination of personnel
experience in competency planning and staffing optimization
knowledge of workplace environment work and employment law processes
understanding of maintenance operations and technical competency needs
Meritorious experience
maintenance operations in the energy or process industry
work in matrix organizations or cross-functional collaboration
Personal Abilities
lead and develop employees based on operational needs
plan and ensure long-term competency supply
create collaboration in a cross-functional organization
balance operational requirements, resource utilization, and employee perspective
structure and make clear priorities and follow-ups
