Do you want to combine technical depth with operational responsibility and help develop a modern, secure, and stable IT environment for multiple municipalities? Right now, Unikom is looking for an experienced datacenter technician who also wants to take on the role of group lead and contribute to developing both technology and team. You will work operationally as a datacenter technician while also being responsible for the daily coordination of the Datacenter Group and Client Group. About the Workplace Unikom, IT komuner i Skåne AB, is an IT company owned by the municipalities of Bromölla, Hörby, Höör, Osby, Sjöbo, and Östra Göinge. We are the result of several years of municipal collaboration with a setup that is unique in Sweden. Our mission is an exciting initiative with a modern approach to municipal IT operations. We deliver stable, secure, and high-quality IT operations to our owner municipalities and actively work on digital development together with the operations. We currently have approximately 50 employees and offer a workplace with high expertise, strong team spirit, and short decision-making paths. About the Role As Group Lead Datacenter Technician, you have a key role in our delivery. You work operationally within the datacenter area while also being responsible for the daily coordination of work in the Datacenter Group and Client Group. You have no personnel responsibility, but you have a central role in creating structure and direction in daily work. You plan, prioritize together with the team, and ensure that work is carried out according to our shared processes and methods. The role also involves driving collaboration between groups and contributing to developing the work toward a more standardized, scalable, and knowledge-sharing delivery. Your Responsibilities Operational Work – Datacenter: • Operations, management, and development of server and datacenter environment • Handling of incidents, problems, and changes • Monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management • Backup, storage, and identity services • Documentation and improvement of operating environment Group Lead Responsibilities: • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on work • Distribute tasks and create overview of workload, priorities, and dependencies • Ensure that work follows established processes • Ensure good communication, information sharing, and collaboration within and between groups • Contribute to open knowledge sharing where experiences and expertise are shared • Develop and continuously improve documentation and standardized methods to reduce individual dependencies and create more scalable and sustainable delivery Security and Improvement: • Work actively with security in the operating environment • Identify vulnerabilities and drive improvements • Ensure compliance with security requirements and guidelines • Contribute to development of methods and technical solutions Technical Environment We are looking for you with experience in several of the following areas: • Hyper-V • NetApp SAN • Microsoft 365 • MobilityGuard OneGate • Veeam Backup • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP It is a merit if you have experience within the client area, for example, SCCM, Intune, or similar. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • Several years of experience as an operations technician or equivalent • Strong expertise in datacenter operations and infrastructure • Experience working in environments with high security requirements • Good understanding of IT operations processes (Incident, Problem, Change) • Ability to work both operationally and coordinatively Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on your personal ability to lead and collaborate.
