Be part of developing tomorrow's bridge and infrastructure projects! As a technical specialist in structures, you'll work with some of Sweden's most complex and socially critical infrastructure projects. The role is ideal for you if you want to apply your technical expertise in bridge and structural engineering broadly—from technical review and design support to development of working methods, regulations, and future solutions in the field. You'll become part of a national specialist network with high technical competence and work closely with project management, consultants, and contractors throughout the entire project chain. Here you'll have the opportunity to influence both individual projects and the long-term development of Swedish transport infrastructure. Work Tasks You will provide qualified technical support in our investment projects within road and rail. In this role, we work across different phases—from early planning and preparation of tender documentation to implementation and production. Here you contribute specialist knowledge in bridge and structural engineering and are responsible for ensuring that technical solutions and documents meet applicable requirements, regulations, and project objectives. Your work includes, among other things: reviewing structural drawings and technical solutions supporting project management in technical assessments and decisions participating in design meetings and technical coordination monitoring technical deliverables during planning, design, and production collaborating with consultants, contractors, and construction management participating in procurement and evaluation of technical consulting services contributing to the development of working methods, procedures, and technical regulations in the field If you want to develop further, there is also an opportunity to contribute within research, innovation, and strategic development work related to structures. We're Looking For Someone Who has a civil engineering degree in Civil Engineering/Road and Water Engineering with a focus on bridge structures, or alternatively another engineering degree combined with work experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent. has many years of current and relevant work experience assessing, handling, and independently creating documents for bridge structures. has current and relevant experience working with industry documents, applicable regulations, and frameworks within the structures field. has a driver's license for a passenger car has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It Is Advantageous If You have many years of current and relevant work experience in design of bridge structures. have current and relevant experience working as a technical lead or project manager regarding structures. have current and relevant work experience from planning and construction of rail and/or road. have current and relevant work experience from inspection of structural documentation regarding structures in accordance with Trafikverket's regulations.
