We are seeking personal assistants who want to work as temporary staff for our clients in the Karlstad area. As a temporary assistant, you step in when regular assistants are sick or on leave. Sometimes we can plan vacant shifts with good notice, but work can also come with short notice due to, for example, illness. During the summer, we can offer more work and then on a set schedule. As a temporary assistant, you work for one or several specific clients where you receive training and orientation so that both you and the client feel secure. Since it takes time to get to know the person receiving assistance, we want you to see the work as long-term. In your work as a personal assistant, you help the client live a good life on their own terms. Work tasks vary between different clients but often include personal hygiene, meal assistance, rehabilitation, household chores, and accompanying clients to various activities. We are looking for someone who is calm and stable. You should have a strong interest in working with people and have good social skills. Since the work is varied and takes place in different environments, it is important that you are flexible and adaptable. Since several clients have communication difficulties, it is important that you speak and write Swedish well.
