About Us Region Blekinge has an integrated occupational health service, Regionhälsan. It is a consolidated unit with region-wide responsibility, and employees are based in two locations: Karlskrona and Karlshamn. Regionhälsan employees have assignments across the county's different geographic areas and work to promote a good work environment, with all of the region's employees as potential clients. Regionhälsan consists of approximately 15 employees across nine different professions and is organized within the overarching administrative level. About the Position Are you a licensed/specialized physician who wants to begin or expand your specialist training (ST) in occupational medicine/occupational and environmental medicine? Then you are welcome to Regionhälsan – your place for professional development with a focus on occupational medicine in the heart of Blekinge! With us, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in work-oriented rehabilitation, the impact of the work environment on health, and quality improvement work. When you work with occupational medicine with us, you contribute to promoting health and a good work environment for our employees. This includes: Conducting medical examinations in working life Investigating work-related injuries and illnesses Collaborating with other professional categories to conduct work environment assessments to improve conditions Creating and implementing organizational interventions for a better work environment Contributing to return-to-work initiatives As an ST physician at Regionhälsan, you will work weekdays, office hours, with no weekends, on-call duty, or standby obligations. We want you to succeed in your role and consider it self-evident that we develop a training plan together that is tailored to you. The position is full-time and includes supervision, study time, and mandatory training components. Your work will span the entire Region Blekinge organization, and you will be based in Karlskrona. You will primarily work at Regionhälsan clinics located in Karlskrona and Karlshamn. Start date by agreement, preferably as soon as possible. About You We believe you are a specialist in an appropriate specialty (such as general medicine or internal medicine) and want to further specialize in occupational medicine/occupational and environmental medicine. It is also possible that you wish to begin your specialty (ST occupational medicine/occupational and environmental medicine) without being a specialist physician, or to pursue multiple specialties in parallel. You are interested in the work environment and how it affects people. You have the ability to work independently and appreciate collaborating with other competencies. We want to continue developing Regionhälsan and contribute to Region Blekinge's growth, so we are pleased to see that you are development-oriented as an individual. You must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A category B driver's license is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Region Blekinge war-registers all permanent employees. Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security vetting interview and record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
