SENIOR CAREGIVERS
At Daugavpils Social Care Center
(Permanent position)
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate client washing and dressing procedures, bed making, changing bed and body linens, oral hygiene, denture care, hygiene care of mouth, eyes, ears, nose, hair, foot and nail care, skin and hair care, perineal hygiene care, assist clients to get into or out of bed or chair, serve meals to clients, provide feeding when necessary, and collect dishes to transport them to the dishwashing area, etc.;
Monitor the care of intensively cared-for clients and implement pressure ulcer prevention according to the care plan, document performed activities, observe client health status, and inform center specialists about it;
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and order in client living spaces and common areas.
Requirements for Candidates:
Caregiver qualification or other education in the field of social care;
Latvian language proficiency at B1 level;
Health status meeting the requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 219 of March 10, 2009 "Procedure for Mandatory Health Examination");
Good communication skills;
Ability to work in a team;
High sense of responsibility, accuracy, analytical thinking, ability to work under high-intensity conditions.
