Together we create sustainable solutions for the buildings of the future. www.flaktgroup.com/se ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT The Technical Sales Support (TSS) department works to support our sales organization around the world and is divided into teams focusing on Mechanical, Controls, Chilled Beams, and Spare Parts. This involves technical support, project management, quotation preparation, and other support for all products and systems delivered from our factory in Jönköping. WHAT WE OFFER YOU The core of your role as Application Engineer is technical support, and what drives you is the technology and the business—delivering a solution that meets customer needs with the right quality and on time. In this role, your customers are our own global sales organization. You assist sales teams with technical questions about our products and product selection programs, and you customize specialized solutions that address customer needs. It is varied work with great opportunities to make an impact. As an Application Engineer, you are the connecting link between the Sales Organization and Production, working closely with R&D and Product Management. There are always new challenges to solve, and we are the experts that others turn to. The role belongs to our Mechanical team and works with our products in the Air Treatment segment. The team has a strong focus on technical support, particularly for our customized products. You develop calculations and quotations for customizations and ensure customers receive the correct technical data. With the expert knowledge you build in this role, it will also be natural for you to conduct certain training on our products, for example when customers visit the factory. The position is located at our factory in Jönköping and reports to the Manager responsible for TSS Mechanical. WHO ARE YOU We are looking for someone with a degree or master's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or energy technology, or equivalent experience. It is a merit if you have a few years of experience from a similar technical role with customer contact. We highly value experience in refrigeration technology, for example as a refrigeration technician or from designing and dimensioning commercial refrigeration systems, such as VRF systems. As a person, you have strong technical curiosity and the ability to dive deeply into complex issues. You are driven to understand connections and take great responsibility for your own knowledge development. You thrive in a role where you function as a technical expert and support contact with many internal and external touchpoints. Since you will be working with both Swedish and international contacts, you express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. OUR PROMISE For us it's simple.
