Movant in Stockholm is now seeking an engaged and organized APL Coordinator who wants to help develop and ensure quality in our apprenticeship placements. The role involves close collaboration with industry within the education areas of plumbing, heating and property management.
About the role
As an APL Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and following up students' apprenticeships (APL). You work closely with education management, teachers and employers and have a key role in creating relevant apprenticeship placements that meet the goals of the education programs and the needs of the job market.
Responsibilities
Establish, develop and maintain contacts with companies and industry actors in construction and civil engineering, electrical, industrial, and plumbing and property management sectors
Match students with appropriate apprenticeship placements together with teachers
Inform supervisors about goals, assessment and responsibilities
Ensure quality of apprenticeship placements through visits and check-ins
Handle agreements and documentation according to procedures
Support students before apprenticeship periods together with teachers
Contribute to quality work and development of the school's apprenticeship process and industry collaboration
Qualifications
Required
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
Experience in coordination, administration or workplace collaboration
Good digital skills and experience with administrative tasks
Ability to network and build relationships with employers
Active and comfortable using social media, for example LinkedIn
Meritorious
Experience from adult education or vocational training
Industry contacts within relevant education areas
Pedagogical experience or supervisor training
Personal qualities
