In our own factory, we produce both standard sign systems and custom-made signs, including tactile solutions for wayfinding and information. By having all production under one roof, we work with clear workflows between workshop, printing, and assembly. This gives us good control over quality, materials, and lead times, as well as the opportunity to work long-term with sustainable materials and stable processes. We are in a stable growth phase and are now seeking a Lead Milling Operator for our workshop. About the role As Lead Milling Operator, you are part of the workshop department and have overall responsibility for milling in production. You do not work alone, but have clear responsibility for how milling work is planned, executed, and coordinated with other parts of manufacturing. Milling is a central part of our production chain and takes place in close collaboration with the rest of the production process. Your task is to ensure that machines, programs, material flows, and work methods function stably, consistently, and with the right quality. The role combines practical work at the machine with responsibility for structure, organization, and development of milling processes. Other production tasks occur, which means that work does not consist solely of milling throughout the entire workday. Examples of work tasks: Responsibility for milling in the workshop and associated workflows Programming, setup, and operation of milling machines Ensuring correct files, materials, and tools before operation Quality control of milled parts Maintenance, organization, and structure around machines and work area Collaboration with other parts of production regarding needs, tolerances, and workflows Support and knowledge sharing with workshop colleagues Work is planned and methodical, with focus on precision, quality, and operational reliability rather than speed. Who we are looking for You have solid experience with milling in manufacturing industry and are confident in both machine and process. You thrive in a workshop environment where structure, organization, and responsibility are central parts of daily work. You: Work methodically and carefully Take responsibility for the whole without becoming a bottleneck Understand how milling affects subsequent operations Find it easy to collaborate across department boundaries CNC milling and software Tool selection, fixtures, and optimization of runs Production with both standard parts and customized solutions Experience with materials such as plastic, aluminum, wood Language: Swedish in speech and writing is required.
