About the Role To meet the requirements and needs of the electricity grid, the Network Connections unit is tasked with handling new connections, connection modifications, connection reconstructions, and connecting production to the local grid at the customer's request. The unit consists of five departments, and we are now looking for several engaged employees for one of them—the one responsible for large connections within the 315-1500 A fuse interval, as well as all connections on the medium-voltage grid where some form of design and construction is required to connect the customer. Our responsibility encompasses the entire process from customer inquiry to completion for our larger connections/business customers. Key Responsibilities This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the intersection of technology, customer dialogue, and societal development. Currently, major investments are being made in renewable energy, charging infrastructure, energy storage, and new industry, while cities and regions are growing. To meet this development, the electricity grid must be expanded and adapted, and the connection process plays an important role here. As a Connection Engineer with us, you will be an essential part in enabling the electrification of society. You will be responsible for guiding the customer's connection case from initial contact to completed connection and will contribute to creating a smooth and positive customer experience. In this role, you will: Be the customer's primary contact person throughout the entire connection process and collaborate with installers, contractors, and other internal specialists. Ensure that the customer receives clear and relevant information throughout the case. Plan and design connection and reconstruction projects in low and medium-voltage grids to find sustainable and efficient solutions. Conduct electricity grid calculations and prepare quotations, cost estimates, and project descriptions. Place orders for contract work, review preparations, and monitor economics, quality, and delivery. Work independently on your own cases while being part of an experienced and supportive team. We would like to see that you have: An engineering degree or vocational qualification focused on electrical power, energy, or other relevant technical field. Experience from a customer-facing role or work where collaboration with different stakeholders has been important. Strong ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious: Experience from electricity distribution operations. Experience as a Connection Engineer or similar role.
