As Connection Manager Water & Sewage at Falu Energi & Vatten, you'll be part of creating sustainable water services for both today's and tomorrow's Falun. In the Planning and Projects Water & Sewage group, we work with planning, investigation, and implementation of projects within water and sewage operations. Here you'll become part of an engaged team that works closely with both customers, the municipality, and internal specialists. Work as a Connection Manager As a Connection Manager Water & Sewage, you'll have a varied and meaningful role where you manage matters related to connections to the public water and sewage network. You'll meet property owners, developers, consultants, contractors, and municipal functions—and help them navigate issues that are often legal, technical, and practical in nature. You're responsible for creating progress from first contact to finished materials for decision-making, implementation, and billing. The role also includes team responsibility where you contribute to oversight, coordination, and support in the group's shared matters. The role suits you if you enjoy having many contact points, taking responsibility in complex matters, and making difficult things understandable for others. Examples of work tasks: • Handle inquiries about new water and sewage connections, from single-family homes to larger developments and business establishments. • Investigate prerequisites for connection, coordinate connection points, and prepare materials for connection fees. • Provide support on matters related to water and sewage law, water and sewage tariffs, ABVA, agreements, and responsibility allocation. • Provide clear guidance to customers, property owners, community associations, developers, and internal colleagues. • Handle contract customers outside the water and sewage service area. • Review building permit referrals and other matters that could affect the public water and sewage system. • Participate in dialogues related to development, community planning, service areas, and future water and sewage expansion. • Have team responsibility where you create oversight of ongoing matters, support colleagues, and contribute to common working methods. In the role, you also contribute to developing working methods, creating oversight of ongoing matters, and supporting colleagues in more complex issues. You'll become an important link between customer, technology, law, and operations. Your Profile We're looking for someone who is organized, responsible, and comfortable dialoguing with different target groups. You thrive when you get to investigate, coordinate, and find solutions—even when the questions don't have an obvious answer from the start. You have a knack for building trust and can explain both regulations and technical prerequisites in a clear and pedagogical way. You who apply have: • Relevant education in, for example, water and sewage, community planning, law, surveying, environment, construction, or infrastructure. Alternatively, experience we consider equivalent. • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, agreements, and technical materials in practical matters. • Good computer skills and strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Class B driver's license. It's a merit if you have: • Experience with water and sewage matters, infrastructure, community development, or authority-related case management. • Knowledge of water and sewage law, water and sewage tariffs, ABVA, connection issues, land agreements, or surveying matters. • Experience with customer dialogue, development issues, building permit referrals, or coordination between multiple parties.
