Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība, reg. no. 90000035590, announces a competition for the vacant position of Director of the mixed vocal ensemble "Skanete" of Kabiles Parish Culture Department for an indefinite period. We offer: - Work in a professional and creative team - An active and dynamic work environment with the opportunity to realize creative ideas and gain new experience - Part-time position (0.25 rate) with accumulated working time accounting - Salary for part-time work (0.25 rate) – 249.25 EUR before tax deductions - Social guarantees Main responsibilities: - Organize and plan the vocal ensemble's activities and development - Attract new members, promoting the artistic growth of the amateur arts collective and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the ensemble - Ensure the ensemble masters appropriate repertoire - Be responsible for the ensemble's costumes and accessories - Ensure the ensemble's participation in municipal events - Organize and facilitate the ensemble's participation in various events, competitions, festivals and showcases, including participation in events of national significance - Organize the ensemble's representation: participate in meetings and assemblies, maintain contacts with other ensembles and institutions - Manage documentation related to the ensemble's activities (reports) in accordance with the procedures established by the department Requirements for candidates: - Appropriate professional education or practical experience working with vocal ensembles - Good communication and cooperation skills when interacting with people of different professions and ages - Ability to work in a team - Precision and responsible attitude toward work - Work experience as a specialist in amateur arts collective management or in the field of cultural work will be considered an advantage Competition participants must submit: - A brief curriculum vitae (CV) - A motivation letter - Copies of documents confirming education and qualifications Application deadline: by September 7, 2026, 18:00 (inclusive).
