Then you might be the person we're looking for! Your New Job Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's water and wastewater networks. Work tasks include preventive maintenance, renewal projects, and emergency services, such as repairs of pipes and connections. Inspection and control of our facilities are also part of the operations. We work together to gradually replace older pipes with new ones designed to last at least 100 years. It is a long-term effort that requires high standards of quality, precision, and collaboration. We are a cohesive team where we support each other and share knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible results. Your Competence The position requires that you are responsible, quality-conscious, positive, and engaged. You can collaborate with colleagues and subscribers and have a desire to learn and develop. You view internal and external training as an opportunity to build competence. Precision and a sense of responsibility are crucial – small mistakes can have major consequences for water supply and the environment. The work can be physically demanding and outdoors in all weather conditions, which requires good physical endurance. You also need problem-solving skills to quickly handle unexpected situations, which also requires effective communication with colleagues, contractors, and sometimes property owners. Good to Know The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) with start date by agreement. The position is security-classified, which means a security clearance with record check will be conducted before employment. Alcohol and drug testing are part of the employment process. Since the work tasks involve exposure to vibrations, you will undergo a medical examination related to vibration work. On-call duties may be part of the position. Interviews are planned after the application deadline. During the interview, you are expected to be able to provide contact information for two references.
