Your role as a construction worker The projects we carry out often include a variety of different construction techniques such as earthwork, water and sewage, stone-laying, etc. The Swedish Transport Administration, municipalities, property owners, and industries are our primary clients. As a construction worker with us, you work with various types of earthwork and construction projects, for example excavation work, pipe-laying, stone-laying. In this position, there is a strong focus on pipe-laying. The size and type of projects vary, and you need to be creative and solution-focused to reach the end goal. You will become a key person in our daily operations together with your colleagues on-site. Who are you? We're looking for someone in the industry. We prefer that you have at least 3 years of practical experience with earthwork and water and sewage projects. You likely have a professional certificate as a construction worker or machinery operator, or have acquired equivalent experience in working life. You are motivated by delivering good work with high quality. You are a team player who shows respect, supports, and cares about your colleagues. At Svevia, safety is highly prioritized. We aim to have the industry's safest workplaces and safest traffic environments. This means you need to follow statutory requirements, regulations, and safety provisions that come with the role. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and a category B driver's license are requirements for the role. A BE or C driver's license is a plus. The Malmö Area Manager is a group of about 60 people with expertise in earthwork, bridge, and utilities construction. The distribution between skilled workers and salaried employees is approximately 50/50. We carry out everything from smaller to larger earthwork and infrastructure projects, and with us you become part of a great team with a wonderful mix of competent people with varying levels of experience, both in the industry and at the company.
