We are now seeking an infrastructure worker for the service department at the Municipal Development Administration in Tidaholm Municipality!
About the Position
As an infrastructure worker, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the municipality's roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and other ground surfaces. The work includes practical fieldwork such as paving, pipe laying and stormwater management, as well as operation of machinery and equipment. The role may also include responsibility for marking according to traffic arrangement plans (TA-plans).
The work is performed both independently and in groups, where you will have contact with other departments and contractors.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in ground and infrastructure work at the upper secondary level. You have a driver's license (category B) and experience in infrastructure work. We also see that you have the ability to read drawings.
Furthermore, you have good collaboration and initiative skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team. You have good physical fitness to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions. You are also responsible, reliable and flexible. It is also important that you are service-oriented and customer-focused. Good communication skills are important in cooperation with supervisors and colleagues.
We would like to see an interest in development and improvement work. It is advantageous if you have machinery experience and experience in pipe laying. It is also beneficial to have training in Work on Roads, preferably level 2.2 (marking supervisor).
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
