Construction Worker / Stone Layer / Paver (SSYK 7114)

Description:

We are seeking a construction worker specializing in stone laying/paving for our construction and infrastructure projects in Stockholm and the surrounding region. In this role, you will primarily work with stone laying and paving of, for example, walkways, driveways, and curbs, as well as laying stone blocks and concrete pavers. You will also perform ground preparation and fine grading work such as leveling, base layer preparation, adjustments, and work with slopes and drainage. Minor construction tasks at the worksite may occur according to the work supervisor's plan. All work is performed in accordance with current occupational health and safety procedures. We are looking for someone with documented experience in stone laying/paving or equivalent construction work. You have a strong work ethic, are thorough, and have the ability to work efficiently in a team. You need to be able to communicate in Swedish or English to receive safety instructions. Knowledge of Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian is a merit. Terms of Employment The position falls under SSYK 7114 (Construction Worker). Terms are in line with collective agreements and industry practice according to the Road and Rail Agreement (Byggföretagen–Seko). Employment Type: Permanent employment (probationary period may apply). Scope/Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Normally daytime hours between 08.00–17.00. Salary: Fixed monthly salary from 42,778 kr/month, with salary reviews according to collective agreement equivalents. Vacation: According to the Vacation Act and equivalent collective agreements (25 days/year). Overtime/Compensation: Overtime may occur as needed. Overtime and on-call compensation rules apply according to collective agreement equivalents. Insurance and Pension: Arranged according to collective agreement equivalents (including relevant insurance and occupational pension). Work Location: Stockholm and the surrounding region.
