About the Position
As an infrastructure worker with coordination responsibility, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the municipality's streets, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and other land surfaces. The work includes practical field work such as paving, pipe laying and stormwater management, as well as operating machinery and equipment. The role also includes responsibility for marking out according to traffic arrangement plans (TA-plans).
As the coordination responsible for the street group, you will be responsible for planning, prioritizing and coordinating the daily work within the group. You serve as a link between work management and employees and help ensure efficient operations and good cooperation within the department. The role also involves contact with contractors, other departments and external partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in land and construction work at upper secondary school level or equivalent experience. You have a B driver's license and experience in construction work. You also have the ability to read drawings and a good understanding of land and construction work.
It is advantageous if you have machine experience, experience with pipe laying and operating a wheel loader or tractor. Experience with Road Work training is also advantageous, preferably level 2.2 (marking responsible). We welcome an interest in development and improvement work.
For the coordination responsibility, we would like you to have experience in planning, coordinating or leading work groups within operations or construction activities. You have good communication skills and feel confident in creating structure, allocating tasks and following up on work. Since the work is both independent and group-based, good ability to handle both practical tasks and coordination matters is required. You are also responsible, with good cooperation and initiative skills.
You need to be in good physical condition to perform work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
