Your Tasks As a construction/groundwork operator with us, you will work on varying projects depending on your experience, skills, and profile. Your tasks may include everything from groundwork and foundation work to water/sewer work, pipe laying, excavation, backfilling, fine grading, and other construction site work. You will also work on preparing work areas, handling materials, coordinating with equipment operators, and ensuring that work is carried out according to drawings, schedules, and applicable quality and safety requirements. Work is performed both independently and in teams with other skilled workers, where you are expected to be engaged, take responsibility, and contribute to an efficient and safe workflow on the construction site. Task Examples: - Groundwork and construction work - Excavation, grading, and backfilling - Pipe laying and water/sewer work (requires documented experience) - Preparatory and finishing work on projects - Blueprint reading and working according to instructions (required) - Operating laser equipment - Daytime work Your Profile We are looking for people with experience in groundwork and construction who enjoy working in a practical and physical work environment. Experience with water/sewer work is important. We would like you to have good physical fitness and enjoy active outdoor work in varying environments. The right attitude and a positive mindset are very important, as the work often involves collaboration, problem-solving, and a fast pace. You need the ability to work both independently and in teams, and be responsible, thorough, and contribute to work being performed in a safe and efficient manner. Good communication skills in Swedish are required, as the work involves daily contact with colleagues, work supervisors, and other trades on the construction site.
