Job Responsibilities As an installer, you work with both repair, maintenance, and renewal of Göteborg's water and sewage network. It's varied and independent work where you plan and perform pipe-laying work based on building drawings and production plans. You will, among other things: Excavate and lay pipes according to AMA and building drawings Restore ground after completed water and sewage work Perform both planned work and emergency response interventions. Conduct risk assessments, follow, and implement safety measures according to the work environment plan. You work in teams of three (two plumbers and one excavator operator), and we rotate teams to strengthen community, learning, and work environment. Colleagues regularly highlight collaboration as the best part of the job. Eventually, on-call duty will be part of the position, in accordance with the emergency response plan. Qualifications We're looking for someone who wants to work with others, takes responsibility, and is solution-oriented. You thrive in a daily routine where no two days are alike and where your work truly makes a difference. You have: Experience from construction or civil engineering Class B driver's license The ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: Class C driver's license Machine operator certification Certifications such as PE welding, Hot work, Safe lifting, excavation safety, work in traffic environments, and similar. The position is classified for security purposes, which means a background check via the Security Police as well as alcohol and drug testing before employment.
