We are now seeking a dedicated Family Support Coordinator for elderly care. The position will initially be placed under the unit for investigation and preventive activities, but is planned to be moved to the new Health Promotion and Prevention unit in due course.

DUTIES
In your role as a Family Support Coordinator, you work to provide support, guidance, and information to family members who care for or support a loved one, in accordance with the Social Services Act. The assignment also includes the role of volunteer coordinator, where you are responsible for developing and coordinating volunteer activities and the municipality's open meeting places.
You will:
• Provide individual support and lead support initiatives in groups for family members
• Work in a promoting and preventive manner in line with the new Social Services Act
• Be part of the municipality's dementia team and contribute your expertise to create the best possible support for citizens
• Plan and conduct group training within the dementia field
• Actively contribute to developing work within the dementia field
• Plan, coordinate, and develop open meeting places and activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as civil society
• Support, collaborate with, and further develop work together with the municipality's volunteers
• Inform about and make visible family support, volunteer activities, and meeting places
As an employee in elderly care, you have a strong focus on the citizen. You demonstrate courage, initiative, and perseverance in continuous improvement work and actively contribute to the development of operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who is a nursing assistant with specialist competence in dementia care. It is meritorious if you have experience working in elderly care as well as knowledge in family support and volunteer activities. We would like to see that you have training in conversation methods, for example MI (motivational interviewing), as well as experience in collaboration with civil society and organizations.
Personal qualities:
You have the ability to combine empathetic treatment with professional guidance. You have a good understanding that the assignment is complex and requires you to put the citizen at the center while maintaining a professional approach. As a person, you are attentive, empathetic, and communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships. You are confident in your professional role, work in a structured manner, and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are flexible and have the ability to see opportunities in different situations.
Other requirements:
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Category B driver's license

Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement.
