About the Operation The Operating Department at Sundsvall Hospital, with its 15 operating rooms, is one of Sweden's most modern operating departments. The department has operating rooms with adjoining prep rooms as well as a sterilization center. The department also has a hybrid operating room. We are a county hospital with 24-hour operations and specialize in orthopedics, surgery, otolaryngology, gynecology/obstetrics, and urology. Currently, we have a total of 78 positions consisting of nursing assistants, operating room nurses, and anesthesia nurses. We are now seeking two anesthesia nurses for the Operating Department in Sundsvall. These are permanent full-time positions with a start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities As an anesthesia nurse, you are responsible for anesthesia induction, maintenance of anesthesia, and recovery of patients undergoing surgery, according to the anesthesiologist's orders. You work closely with the anesthesiologist and are part of a team in the operating room together with the operating room nurse and nursing assistant. You need to be able to quickly switch between planned activities and acute situations that may arise. On-call duty and transport standby will be included in your assignment over time.
