Thorax Center provides highly specialized cardiac and lung surgical care as well as services in the areas of invasive electrophysiology, pacemaker, ICD/CRT, invasive cardiology/PCI, and TAVI. Within the clinic, approximately 200 employees work in care, intensive care, and radiology departments as well as in outpatient and operating room activities. We have broad and varied work content and conduct both acute and planned operations. We are a professional knowledge organization characterized by high care quality, development drive, responsibility, and participation. Thorax anesthesiologists, thorax surgeons, cardiologists, and thorax radiologists work here.
The service area for specialized care covers approximately 330,000 residents.
The workplace is unique with its multidisciplinary structure, which means daily conferences, short decision-making paths, and collaboration around patients within the clinic's own framework.
About the Position
Standard duties for a specialist physician in thorax anesthesia with service in Thiva, Operating Room, and on-call duties. Opportunity for a shared position with service also within general anesthesia at the Anesthesia Clinic is available.
Region Blekinge has wartime placement for all permanent employees.
Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security vetting interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Candidates who are selected for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
About You
We are now seeking an anesthesiologist, senior physician, or specialist physician. Either you have worked for a few years as a thorax anesthesiologist and have on-call duty level competence, or you are a fully qualified anesthesia specialist interested in further specializing in thorax anesthesia. You are a confident and stable person with good collaboration skills and a structured work approach.
