If you're interested in assignments within anesthesia and intensive care for fall/winter, it's time to start planning and share your availability with us! Through the national agreement, we have the opportunity to offer relay assignments from north to south, where you can contribute your expertise and help hospitals in need of specialist competence. What does the assignment involve? As a temporary/relay physician in the ICU, you will staff shifts both day and night, often in the role of primary on-call or backup on-call. There are also assignments in the operating room, where it's daytime Monday through Friday. Which assignments we can offer varies quickly, sometimes from hour to hour. If we don't find a matching assignment immediately, I'll monitor your available weeks and get back to you with suitable assignments as soon as they become available.
