About the role – a teaching position beyond the ordinary
As a teacher at Nytorpsskolan, you work in a resource school context, where teaching takes place in small groups or individually, with high staff density. Our students have, for example, autism, ADHD and/or significant school anxiety, which means that teaching needs to be clearly structured, individualized, and flexible.
Here, the relationship with the student is a prerequisite for learning. You work in a low-arousal manner, predictably, and with a strong focus on safety, motivation, and trust.
The role includes:
planning, conducting, and following up on Swedish instruction based on each student's circumstances
adapting instruction according to the student's daily condition, attendance, and needs
working closely with student assistants, student welfare services, and school management
collaborating closely with guardians and other stakeholders around the student
actively participating in teacher meetings, team meetings, and student welfare meetings
contributing to the school's continued development together with colleagues
About Nytorpsskolan
Nytorpsskolan is a resource school for grades 3–9 and is located in Näsby Park. The school has approximately 50 students, divided into 5 classes/groups, and a staff of 15 employees who work closely together.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary teacher in Swedish, preferably with experience in or education within special education.
It is an advantage if you have:
experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders
knowledge of low-arousal approaches
experience from a resource school or working with problematic school absenteeism
