Björksätraskolan is a grades F-9 school with almost 700 students, where approximately 380 students attend grades 7–9. We are a proud part of the Southern Primary School District together with Jernvallsskolan F–6 and Sätra School F–6. The district has a shared principal and seven dedicated assistant principals who together lead the work forward with a focus on quality and development. We are now seeking a teacher with certification in Mathematics/Natural Sciences, with the possibility of part-time work. JOB DUTIES As a Mathematics and Natural Sciences teacher for grades 7-9, you become an important part in creating teaching where students' development is at the center. You work both independently and together with your subject team to develop teaching in a sustainable and thoughtful way. You contribute by: • Creating teaching that is based on students' needs and conditions • Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom • Building good relationships with students, colleagues and guardians • Actively participating in the school's development work in language development and teaching development. We make each other better by: • Sharing experiences and knowledge in collegial forums • Working with a solution-focused approach • Developing teaching together in subject teams • Having shared responsibility for students' safety and learning QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in the role, you need good pedagogical insight and understand how students acquire knowledge in different ways. You adapt teaching based on the individual's needs and create conditions for learning. A structured working method helps you plan and follow up on teaching in a clear and effective way. Collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You work attentively together with colleagues, share experiences and contribute to an open climate where teaching develops together. In a changing school environment, it is also important to be able to take on new ideas and working methods and to see the opportunities in them. By being development-oriented, you contribute to the school's shared learning. The assignment requires: • Teacher certification with qualifications in Mathematics and Natural Sciences • Good knowledge of primary school's governing documents • Good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written Good digital competence and experience using digital tools are merits.
