We are seeking qualified teachers in various subjects—all areas of interest to us!
Ljunghaga School is a small K–6 school in a rural and very peaceful environment, where our connection to nature permeates the entire operation. We work in small student groups, creating a warm and family-like atmosphere that provides excellent opportunities to see each student and build secure relationships.
The school's pedagogical approach emphasizes creativity, variety, and learning that awakens curiosity and motivation. With us, students explore, experiment, and think for themselves—and as a teacher, you'll have room to work practically, thematically, and imaginatively to inspire their spirit of discovery.
We use analog methods as our foundation, with digital tools used sparingly and for clear purposes. The school's surroundings—forests, meadows, lakes, and the farm environment—offer excellent opportunities for outdoor education and reality-based teaching.
Our team works closely and continuously together, with great emphasis on collaboration and a willingness to contribute to the whole. All adults at the school share responsibility for meeting students' needs for belonging, security, and appreciation. We are therefore seeking someone who thrives in an environment where relationships, collaboration, and shared responsibility are central.
