AML Compliance Officer

Description Do you want to work on combating money laundering, financing of terrorism, and fraud in an organization where regulatory compliance and customer protection are in focus? We are now looking for a dedicated AML Compliance Officer who wants to contribute to the bank's continued development within AML, KYC, and fraud prevention. Job Responsibilities As an AML Compliance Officer at Sparbanken Tanum, you have a central role in the bank's work to ensure good customer knowledge, identify and manage risks, and maintain high quality in regulatory compliance. You work closely with operations and serve as an important support in matters concerning AML, KYC, and fraud handling. Your responsibilities include conducting reviews, investigations, and follow-ups within customer due diligence, as well as handling AML alerts, suspected money laundering cases, and complaints. You are also responsible for regulatory reporting. The position also includes conducting quality controls, developing the bank's processes and procedures, and supporting and training colleagues in AML and KYC. You also participate in the bank's AML committee and contribute to continuous improvement work in this area. We are looking for someone who has Academic education in economics, law, or equivalent education. Experience from a bank, financial institution, government agency, or other relevant work within AML/KYC. Good understanding of anti-money laundering regulations, customer due diligence, and financial crimes. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and responsible with a strong focus on quality. You enjoy working independently while having good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach. You have good communication skills and feel confident supporting and training colleagues. You also have an interest in development and improvement work and appreciate a role where you can combine analysis, investigation, and administration.
