As an ambulance paramedic at Falck's ambulance operations, you will encounter an exciting, varied environment where you, together with a nurse, can be the first on scene at an accident and coordinate with police, rescue services, and emergency physicians. You are responsible for operating the ambulance during emergency calls and ensuring that proper equipment is always in place so you can perform your duties in a patient-safe manner.
We are looking for you who are trained as a healthcare assistant with:
- Specialized training in ambulance care
- At least 2 years of experience as a healthcare assistant in inpatient care
- C1 driver's license with good driving experience and knowledge of the local area
- Good physical fitness as heavy patient lifting occurs, and swimming proficiency (200 meters any stroke)
- Fluent Swedish, spoken and written

- Experience from acute care, prehospital care, or acute care departments

- Permanent position beginning with a 6-month probationary period starting in January 2027. Working hours by agreement
- Placement: Your work area is Östergötland. Please indicate in your application which of our stations you are most interested in working from. Open positions are available in Motala and Kisa. An alternative is a pool position, which means working at all our stations in Östergötland—Kisa, Åtvidaberg, Ödeshög, Mjölby, Linköping, Motala
- Recruitment process: The process includes an interview, driving test, physical test, IVO verification, and a criminal record check. Certificate of swimming proficiency is required
