We are now seeking ambulance nurses and nurses for both permanent positions and temporary assignments within ambulance services in Region Örebro County. Duties As a nurse in ambulance services, you work in a team and meet patients of all ages in many different types of care situations. The assignment includes assessment, treatment, and care, as well as working together with the patient and other care contacts to contribute to the right care at the right time. Work takes place in varying environments, at different paces, and in different situations, placing high demands on medical expertise, judgment, and collaboration. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on ambulance care. For a permanent position, at least one year of experience as a licensed nurse is required. For temporary assignments, we also welcome those who are newly qualified or will graduate before taking up the position. A B driving license is a requirement, as is swimming ability (200 meters) and a passing result on the tests included in the recruitment process. Ambulance care is conducted in teams, and it is a prerequisite that you appreciate and value teamwork. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is responsible, collaboration-oriented, and wants to contribute to both the development of the operations and your colleagues. Application Selection takes place on an ongoing basis. To be considered for employment, you need to be able to participate in one of our test days on August 20 or 21, 2026. You will be offered a time in the morning or afternoon. The test day includes an interview, fitness test, and driving test. Your application should include a CV and personal letter. Certificates, grades, diplomas, etc. should be submitted at a possible interview. If you are or have previously been employed by Region Örebro County, we will take internal references from your current or former manager if you become relevant for employment. About the Operations Ambulance services in Region Örebro County are distributed across three main stations in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg with associated satellite stations.
