Ambulance care is seeking you to provide advanced healthcare with great opportunities to initiate medical treatment at the scene in case of acute illness or accidents. Ambulance care in Jämtland Härjedalen consists of 11 ambulance stations and a helicopter base. The region has 12 around-the-clock staffed ambulances and one around-the-clock staffed helicopter. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As an ambulance nurse, you will perform common work tasks at an ambulance station. The work gives you unique experiences based on the encounters and different situations you face. Our large and varied mission provides you as an ambulance nurse with great opportunities to develop in your profession. For us, it is important to provide adequate training to our employees. Initially, we offer you an introductory program tailored to your previous experience. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in ambulance care. We would like you to have experience working in ambulance care previously. A driver's license with at least B-category is required, but we would prefer C-category. It is an advantage if you have training as an emergency responder. Initially, we offer you an introductory program tailored to your previous experience. You should have good local knowledge of the ambulance district in which you will work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability where a flexible approach to working under changing circumstances and at a varying work pace, as well as the ability to work independently, prioritize between different tasks, and make your own decisions are important elements. Great demands are placed on medical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and physical endurance as fitness tests occur at hiring and thereafter every third year. As an ambulance nurse, you are responsible and confident in your professional role. Your approach is characterized by having the patient and patient safety in focus. With an ethical approach, you provide good patient care. Furthermore, we expect you to have good collaboration skills, to enjoy working in a team, and to actively contribute your knowledge and to creating a good work environment.
